FIRST PICTURE OF THE NEW YEAR! :D
This is a picture of my tree. I do believe the red blob is me.
Every year, I set up my mini tree. It's about a foot tall, and was my christmas gift when I was 10. I love it very much, but I do believe fake trees should not shed as much as mine does.
The Road Home.

Downtown. This is the main square of my downtown...it's not far from my house, but never fails to make me feel like a modernized version of the Town Squares of the past, where people would gather. Ours is much less human populated, although our downtown is rather lively at times. I'm sad about the lighting in this picture, but I liked the colors...

Yes that is a Santa Hat. And a joker hat. And an octopus. Don't judge me.
This dog. He tried to hump my mother. My incredibly small mother, who basically fell down. XD
He is a very cute dog. and very energetic. and a sock ninja, but we shall pretend we do not know that part.
And this is Bird. Yes. Bird. I ran out of creative names. (Lyra, Rhys, Yuki, Natsuo, Bird. That's how it goes)
She comes with a fun story. Is she not cute? (just agree, it will save you trouble)

I'm a little pressed for ideas in some of these. Personally, for this pic, I just like how it looks a bit unending...infinity in my cupboard. XD (I had a lot of failed pictures....so this was the best of the bunch.)
TWO: (which totally comes after first) Taken on the 9th
I'm also working on my 100 themes pictures...this will be one of them :D They'll be up on dA slowly when I'm halfway finished. :D It's a picture of my awesome christmas cactus...It's so pretty! This flowers dead now though...o(T_T)o
THIRD: Taken the 10th. (I think I should stop jumping around...)
This will also be apart of my 100 themes. :D I loved the lighting and the shadows...in the end the picture turned out a little dark, but I don't want to have to photoshop my pictures just because I want to see what i can do without the help...so. this is it. :D
FOURTH: Taken the 12th
I love the warm fuzziness of scarves and gloves in the winter. I also love the feeling of many many fuzzy warm covers when waking up in the morning.
FIVE: Taken the 13th.
We spent like. five hours. making these jars. They're full off cookie mixes...those things that are like, all dried stuff and just dunk it out and add eggs and water or something. XD I thought they looked rather cute and festive. ^_~ (ughh all the other pics I took that day came out iffy as well...*sighs*)
SIXTH: Taken the 14th.
Ahhh I had lots of fun trying to get this picture right. This is Fiore. I love him. He glows in three different colors, so I had alot of trouble figuring out exactly which light I liked best. I had so many of these pictures. It was around eleven at night when I finally struck inspiration. This is ridiculous.
SEVEN: Taken the 16th.
(yes. I know. I forgot on the 15th. T_T)
This will be 'horror' in my 100 themes. It takes a bit of explaining....maybe not. I suck at cooking. And I suck at getting the right ingredients in. Like..I mix up the salt and sugar. and stuff. Horror.

Ahhh I love this girl. <3 <3 <3 And I love the mac-lab. It's got amazing lighting. Working on a Japanese assignment. probably also gunna be in the 100 themes. DONEEEE :D

KIRA'S ANIME/MANGA REVIEW (aka more kira rants):
Just got re-interested in Ookiku Furikabutte (I'd forgotten alla bout this story a while ago, but I found a dload site for all the anime and now i'm all hooked again and it's pathetic XD) It's basically about baseball, but it's not just a sports manga/anime. It has plenty of super fun sentimental moments (haha famous episode three.) and lots of lovely friend bonding stuff (lets all sleep togetherrrr XD). The storyline is really great. The characters aren't egoistic like many of the main characters in sports manga, and their fun sentimental moments make them more human and relatble. I cried when Junta started crying was bad. like really really bad, since I was totally in school while watching that episode). XD; The art is great, better in the anime than in the manga. The anime is liscensed by Funimation now, as Big Windup, but the manga has yet to be english published. All in all it's super cute.
I'm just having a helluva time looking for the manga raw scans from the Afternoon magazine. I wish i had access to one, but I don't, so I'm stuck with raws. SCANLATIONS ARE TOO SLOW.
we need to fix this. If I were any better at Japanese (/if I had more time, cause I guess I could always be cleanup and editing) I'd see if I could start scanlating...or at least, help out...Oh well Summer's coming (yes I know it's winter. It's also 32 degrees F. outside currently) so maybe I can get helping with it soon.
FANART. I've been itching to fanart lately, and I think Oofuri's captured my attention for it :D I'm excited
I kinda wanna cosplay for it too, but we shall see :D

Just a spiffy tutorial link I found while looking for painting with light information on google.
When I said i'd put more pictures up when school started, I hadn't expected myself to be so busy XD; I WILL put the pics I have done in photography class up once they are scanned, but that will take time so they may or may not be up soon.
Last week, the homestays came and went. they left on Sunday. It was sad, but it was just five days so definitely not enough time to really bond. It was fun though; we bought them places and shopping and stuff. :D The bad thing: homework pileup. i didn't do most of my homework that week. I'm paying for it now. XD
Monday after that was Yom Kippur, so we had a day off. Kira and Co. went up to NY and took pics in central park! lotsa fun. :D We're apparently going to be doing an Alice in Wonderland cosplay for halloween and aNEXT and such. I'm excited. I think me and kara-chan (kara-wind) are going to be Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, but i'm not sure yet; we need to talk about it. XD; (we'd be doing an interpretation rather than litterally buying the costume. XD)
I'll try to get the few pictures I took in New York up tonight. I'll try not to forget. They're all set to put up too, I just have to do it. XD

In any case, I've been sleeping alot. XD; seen my friends a few times. working loads. taking loads of pictures, although none too noteworthy. in fact, none really put upabble either (<--i've been working on my film camera...)

On another note, I haven't gotten any good photography lately, but i'll be putting some stuff up later or tomorrow (I promise! >_<) I haven't decided of WHAT yet, since none of the photography from lately is really any nice but it's been too long.
I've been reading Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, and writing analysis and summary for each of the chapters. It's tiring, and would be better if I liked the book to begin with T_T

It's definitely not there yet, and nor is this the actual size. The picture on the right is the actual Nyanko-sensei from Natsume Yuujinchou (which is an AWESOME anime.) :D He's so cute.
I want mine to be big enough to pillowize!! But this is the prototype. :D To see if i can do it to begin with, and play with it enough to get the big one to look good. I can't wait to finish! This, amoung my cosplay and photography, is one of mjy goals for the summer :D

So today there was a small rain. It wasn't a big storm, nor did it even have lightning, but it was a nice light rainfall. While watching a movie, I looked out the window and saw that the sky was red. Being ME (XD) i opened the window, and saw the sky erupt in colors. :D

Right after my final exams, i left on a trip to upstate new york. It was alot of fun, very peaceful, and very interesting. (I saw my first hail storm!) On another note, i didn't have internet for the most part, so i didn't get to update. I'm updating now though! :D

The most delicious little candies ever. XD I love these things, they just melt in your mouth. My favorite is the watermelon one.
I found this picture really perty. It's a bit darker than i'd like it, but The sun was peaking out from behind the clouds and it just made me feel like freedom :D
These are called Alpacha (spelling?) THEY'RE ADORABLE. :D And they have the biggest eyes...They're very gentle and have really really REALLY fluffy fur (?).
(I'm sure i've said it before becuase i say it quite often but ) Even weeds are pretty :D

(Actually it's just Boota, the pig mole who apparently oozes Spiral energy and is still with Simon even though Simon's like 80. But everything TTGL automatically makes me think of Kamina's super awesome lines. XD)
